Defence Minister on strategic cooperation pact with KSA to deepen defence ties

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif proposed an all-encompassing strategic cooperation agreement to deepen defence ties with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
“Building on solid legacy, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are progressing towards comprehensive defence relationship for 21st century,” he said while welcoming Saudi Assistant Defence Minister Engineer Talat Abdullah Alotaibi, who called on him along with delegation here.
Khawaja Asif expressed good wishes and prayers for health of Custodian of Two Holy Masajid King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz. Saudi Minister stated that KSA wanted to enhance defence-related collaborations with Pakistan, particularly in field of defence production. Secretary Defence Lt Gen (retd) Hamood-uz-Zaman Khan was also present during meeting.
