LAHORE: Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir Khan said that celebration day was observed on completion of 1,000 days of 886 kilometer long Matiari-Head Balloki transmission line project under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). 

Addressing press conference at Phoolnagar today, he said that Matiari-Head Balloki transmission line was started during tenure of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ten years ago.

He said PML-N government added 5,000 megawatt electricity to national grid and first time in history of country, 2,000 MW project had been completed in Thar. He said that such new electricity projects would be started which would use indigenous resources.
