ISLAMABAD: Chairman of National Business Group Pakistan (NBGP) Zahid Hussain welcoming return of Senator Ishaq Dar to Pakistan said it gave hope to business community and rupee to strengthen while stock market also to increase. Business community is regaining confidence.

Majority believe that return of Ishaq Dar will be a breath of fresh air for country’s faltering economy. Talking to business community, he said that country needs an economist like Ishaq Dar more than ever before in present critical situation.

Economy needed an expert who could restore it, which is why Ishaq Dar is returning to same position from which he was expelled because there was no other option. Pakistan is currently suffering from floods. Country’s agriculture has been devastated by worst floods.

At same time, industrial sector also suffered heavy losses and future of textile sector is at stake. Problem of food security has also become serious due to flood and country has lost at least thirty billion dollars while attitude of international community is not as expected despite being positive.
