Dadu district flood-affected given ownership rights: PPP MNA

Karachi: Ceremony was held in Khairpur Nathan Shah Tehsil to provide houses of flood-affected Dadu district on behalf of Sindh government. They will be granted ownership rights. MNA and District President of Peoples’ Party Rafiq Jamali, MNA Irfan Zafar Leghari, MPA Abdul Aziz Junejo and MPA Fayaz Butt attended event. Around 500 flood victims received house ownership right certificates.
Rafiq Jamali emphasised party’s commitment providing roofs to flood victims. He recalled promise made by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who assured people that houses would be built for them. He stated that Bilawal Bhutto fulfilled his promise to people of Sindh.
Sindh government aims to build substantial number of houses in various locations. Specifically, 50,000 houses are planned for Mehar, another 50,000 in Khairpurnathan Shah, 38,000 in Johi and 18,000 in Dadu. Project aims to provide much-needed shelter people.
DC Dadu Syed Murtaza Ali Shah said Sindh government is dedicated to providing house construction and ownership rights to flood victims. He highlighted over five hundred flood victims in Dadu district were granted ownership rights. Number of houses precisely one lakh sixty-four thousand.
