Karachi: “CSS examination is one of life’s most gratifying experiences. Regardless of one’ results, studying for this difficult examination will expose you to new knowledge that will benefit you in real-world situations.

CSS is a great chance to acquire specialised skills as well as decision-making and leadership skills”, said Taha Saleem Deputy Commissioner and Administrator of District Central.

Speaking to students at a special guest lecture ‘Importance of CSS exam’, organised by Ziauddin University he said, “It wasn’t a simple path for me at time, people used to think that CSS was just about source system (parchi system), so it wasn’t easy. Believe me CSS is one of very few examinations in Pakistan where we get 99 percent meritocracy”.

Taha Saleem added that there were many different aspects of my assignment that I like, so choosing a career was difficult. However, I think this is one potential that should be investigated. In my opinion, there are just these options available if you want to make decisions that will change or benefit our nation. If you join civil service, only you have power to make choices that have a significant impact on your community. That is influence that civil service has. We have arranged (CSS Corner) Free of Cost CSS Classes by CSP officers and Professionals to guide students who are willing to prepare for CSS exams.

Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder said that appearing in CSS exam is an extremely rewarding experience in one’s life. Success and failure aside, preparing for this most challenging examination will open new fields of learning which will help you in your practical life. I am sure that this lecture has piqued interest of all attendees sitting here today.
