CPK enters into Malir City: AIG Odho inaugurates new centre

KARACHI: Karachi citizens are suffering most due to rampant street crimes that takes place in routine, but on other side Community Policing Karachi (CPK) has also pledged to end this menace with might and utmost sincerity through coordinated efforts of Karachi Police and residents. CPK is brainchild of Murad Ali Soni who is heading CPK for over 2 years and now his consistent approach, positivism and dedicated efforts turning fruitful with expansion of CPK centers across Karachi. Not only it is about declining rate of street crimes in Karachi but CPK is also playing vital role in making city 'clean, green and secure' neighbourhood for dwellers.
Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho is overseeing CPK working and ensured his full support to Community Policing for bringing street crimes in metropolis to its logical end in an organised manner. Recently, CPK stretched out its working from District Central to Malir City after setting up new centre of Community policing in precincts of Malir City Police Station with support of locals and police. CPK new centre at Malir City Police Station was inaugurated by Addition IG Javed Alam Odho along with other top cops.
He lauded initiative of Murad Ali Soni and vowed his full support to him for this big cause. He also said that it is collective responsibility of every citizen to play right role for exterminating out perils of street crimes in city. Highlighting recent incident of killing of NED student during mugging bid, Odho said that within 24 hours, culprits were arrested and brought to book. Karachi police will not allow any safe haven to anyone found involved in heinous crimes. SSP Malir City Irfan Bahadur said with help of CPK, Malir City will soon witness drastic decline in street crimes activities and lauded Murad Ali Soni for his exemplary idea of establishing such kind of centre that will keep close eye on unlawful activities of miscreants.
