CPEC to open countless avenues for investment, employment in Pakistan

KARACHI: Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong termed China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) magnanimous development initiative that will create countless doors of investment across globe and will bring robust increase in economic development in future.

Chinese CG expressed these views during exclusive talks with Daily National Courier. Social activist, author and Director Operations Pakistan Institute of Hockey Junaid Ahmed Khan was also present during meeting held at Chinese Consulate.

During meeting, Yang Yundong highlighted significant contribution made by China to assist Pakistan in diversified sectors and that will play pivotal role in further strengthening bilateral relationship between China and Pakistan.

He emphasised on students exchange programmes between both countries and also about learning Chinese language in different educational institutions.

Yang Yundong also lauded role of journalist community and media workers for portraying positive image of China through responsible reporting across print, electronic and digital media.

Chinese envoy further said that CPEC is flagship project undertaken by Chinese government that will certainly open great avenues of investment, employment in multiple sectors and this initiative will move ahead in line with vision of President Xi Jinping.

Chinese Consul General welcomed Editor-in-Chief of Daily National Courier Aneel Ahmed Usmani at Consulate where during meeting various issues of key importance came into discussion including recently held third Belt and Road Forum for international connectivity and cooperation in Beijing.
