ISLAMABAD: Special Court established under Official Secrets Act will hear cipher case today (Tuesday). List of lawyers who will appear on behalf of Chairman PTI Imran Khan has been filed in court.

List was filed by Suleman Safdar counsel for PTI Chairman through advocate Khalid Yousuf. According to list 8 lawyers including Suleman Safdar, Umair Khan Niazi, Sikandar Zulqarnain Salim, Khalid Yousuf, Ahmad Masar, Sohail Khan, Niazullah Niazi and Usman Riaz Gill will appear before court during case in jail. Lawyers have requested court to direct jail authorities not to create any hindrance in regard to jail entry of lawyers.

Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has adjourned hearing of 3 cases of protest and vandalism against Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi without any proceedings. Judge Abul Hasnant Zulqarnain of ATC took up cases for hearing. Court adjourned hearing of 3 bail pleas of Chairman PTI till November 14 without proceedings. Court also adjourned hearing of bail plea of Shah Mehmood Qureshi till November 14.

In addition, notice has been issued to Superintendent Adiala Jail for not allowing Chairman PTI Imran Khan to talk to his sons. Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of special court issued notice. Sheeraz Ahmad Ranjha advocate counsel for Chairman PTI filed petition.

It was taken plea in petition Superintendent Adiala Jail did not allow Imran Khan to talk to his sons despite court’s orders. Petition said Superintendent Adiala Jail did not implement court’s orders. Court while issuing notice to jail authorities to give reply adjourned hearing of court till November 8.
