He rejected plea of Islamabad and Punjab police seeking physical custody of PTI leader in separate cases registered against him. Judicial magistrate directed representatives of both Islamabad and Punjab police to fulfill and complete required documentation for further proceedings. Strict security measures were ensured at court premises where Ali Amin’s brother, former provincial minister Faisal Amin, Tehsil Mayor Umar Amin, and number of PTI workers were present.
PTI leader claimed that police were arresting him “Illegally” and also carried out raids at his residence. Gandapur said he voluntarily surrendered to authorities because he did not want to cause any mayhem at court premises.
