RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench while nullifying arrest of PTI leader Dr Shireen Mazari has ordered to release her.

Petition filed against detention of Dr Shireen Mazari came up for hearing before LHC Rawalpindi bench led by Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz.

Barrister Shoaib Razaq and Aneeq Khatana counsels for Dr Shireen Mazari appeared in court. Iman Mazari daughter of Dr Shireen Mazari also appeared in court. Court remarked if Dr Shireen Mazari is not named in any other case then she should not be arrested again. Shireen Mazari should file affidavit before Deputy Commissioner that she will not participate in such activity in future.

Talking to media men Iman Mazari said, “My mother was arrested thrice in week. But today court nullified second MPO of my mother. Government should think they should not ruin homes like this.  Iman Mazari said she has no link with PTI but it is matter of regret that Imran Khan forgot workers and leadership.
