Court indicts PML-N leader Ch Tanvir, his son, others in Walayat Complex case

RAWALPINDI: Judge Masroor Zaman of special court of Anti-Corruption Rawalpindi has indicted PML-N leader Chaudhry Tanvir Ahmad Khan, his son Daniyal Chaudhry and other accused in case pertaining to construction of Walayat Complex.

Accused persons while declaring case a political vendetta have pleaded not guilty. Counsels for Chaudhry Tanvir has filed acquittal plea for him under section 249 of criminal procedure.

Chaudhry Tanvir appeared in court and charge sheet was read out to him. However he pleaded not guilty saying this case has been registered merely on basis of political vendetta and it has nothing to do with reality.–Online
