Court hands over Yasmin Rashid to police

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court in Lahore handed over senior PTI leader and former Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid to police on three-day physical remand. PTI leader was produced in court in connection with Jinnah House attack case.

As investigative officer sought physical remand during court proceedings medical report of Dr Yasmin Rashid was also submitted.

To which investigator said she had been discharged from Services Hospital and according to hospital’s report her blood pressure is now normal.

Former Punjab Advocate General Awais Ahmad represented Yasmin Rashid in court, arguing against approving her physical remand on medical grounds.

Court, however handed her over to police on three-day physical remand.
