Lahore: An Accountability Court here adjourned plea against freezing assets of family of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif till April 27. Court sought further arguments from lawyers of Shehbaz Sharif’s family. Petition had been filed by Hamza Shehbaz and Nusrat Shehbaz.

Accountability Court Duty Judge Zubair Shahzad Kayani heard plea. Order of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court to freeze assets had been challenged by family of Shehbaz Sharif. NAB court had ordered to freeze assets of Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz, Nusrat Shehbaz and Tehmina Durrani. “NAB court’s order to freeze the assets is not correct. Accountability court should nullify it,” petition pleaded.
