Court accepts Ishaq Dar plea for exemption in assets reference

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) has accepted Finance Minister Ishaq Dar plea for exemption from attendance in assets reference.  

Assets reference came up for hearing in respect of Ishaq Dar before AC yesterday. Counsel for Ishaq Dar requested court Ishaq Dar has gone to US to attend meeting with IMF. Therefore exemption from attendance in court be given to him for one day (Wednesday).  

Court while ordering to deposit surety bonds worth one million rupees on behalf of Ishaq Dar accepted exemption from attendance for one day plea.  Court adjourned hearing case till Nov 9.–Online
