As protesters moved forward and pelted gathered riot police with stones, police confronted protesters and fired tear gas to disperse them.
In Lahore, PTI protesters gathered outside main entrance to Punjab Governor House, where Governor and representative of federation and ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was in progress.
Protesters chanted slogans against federal government and they burnt tyres. Doors of Governor House were locked from inside. Protests were also held in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including in Peshawar.
