Country on brink of destruction, PTI struggling to get real independence: IK

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan announced to hold power show at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday. Large number of PTI workers and supporters attended rally led by Imran Khan. After crossing different routes, rally reached Data Darbar where PTI Chief addressed workers.
While addressing PTI activists and supporters during an election rally here, Imran Khan said that 'Imported government' is imposing restrictions to suppress voices in support of PTI. He added that he will never forget martyred PTI activist Zille Shah.
He vowed that responsible policemen in Zille Shah's murder will face penalties. Khan said that this is not his personal fight but for whole nation. "I take to streets despite facing threats to my life. Our country is now on brinks of destruction and we are struggling to get real independence."
PTI Chief said that supremacy of law will give real independence to nation. He said that his character assassination was made by PTI rivals but Toshakhana case exposed their lies. He added that more revelations will be made if details of foreign funding to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz are released.
He added that PTI rivals want to oust his political party from elections and using all tactics. He said that people are standing in support of jihad for real independence. Khan said that he will hold power show in daylight to show PTI's massive support. He announced to hold power show at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday.
Imran Khan led an election rally as Islamabad police reached Lahore to arrest him.
After non-bailable arrest warrant of Imran Khan was issued in case pertaining to threatening female judge, team of Islamabad police arrived in Punjab capital to arrest Imran Khan on special helicopter.
District administration, however imposed condition that no PTI leader would give statement against judiciary or any other institution.
Imran Khan reached Data Darbar in his bullet-proof vehicle where he addressed his supporters.
Large number of party workers and supporters welcomed PTI Chief on way to Data Darbar.
