Karachi: Cotton arrival decreased by 36 percent year-on-year, showed latest data released by Pakistan Cotton Ginner’s Association (PCGA). As per report, total cotton arrival declined to 4.764 million bales as of February 1, 2023, compared to 7.421 million bales in same period last year, fall of 2.657 million bales.

Decline is attributed to flash floods, which devastated large swathes of agricultural land in country, especially in Sindh and Balochistan.
