Corps Commander Karachi praises ASF efforts in ensuring airports' security

KARACHI: A passing out parade ceremony was held at the ASF Academy Karachi to mark the completion of the Basic Aviation Security Course by 655 new recruits of the Airport Security Force (ASF).
The ceremony was attended by Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Muhammad Avais Dastgir, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz, as the chief guest.
The recruits, including men and women, underwent rigorous training in modern aviation security techniques and physical fitness to prepare them for the challenges of securing the country's airports. The training program is designed to equip the recruits with the skills and knowledge necessary to ensure the safety and security of airport operations.
During the ceremony, Lieutenant General Dastgir inspected the parade and awarded prizes and medals to the recruits who demonstrated exceptional performance during their training. He also praised the efforts of the ASF in ensuring the security and safety of the country's airports.
In his address, Lieutenant General Dastgir paid tribute to the martyrs of the ASF and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the force in the line of duty. He expressed his confidence that the new recruits would prove to be a valuable addition to the ASF and contribute to the force's efforts to ensure the security and safety of the country's airports.
The passing out parade ceremony was attended by senior officials of the ASF, including Director General ASF, Major General Adnan Asif Jah Shad, as well as families and friends of the recruits.
