Contempt of court pleas filed against Justice Faez Isa, Justice Sardar Tariq

ISLAMABAD: Contempt of court pleas have been filed against two judges of Supreme Court (SC) including Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood in apex court. Petitions have been filed by advocate Shahid Rana.

Petitioner has taken plea in petition that these two judges refused to sit in military courts case by violating stay order on Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act. SC order is as per Article 239 of Constitution.

Petitioner requested court to initiate legal proceedings against Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood besides seeking reply from them regarding non-compliance of court's orders.
