Contempt of court plea in Shehryar Afridi case: IHC reserves judgment

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on contempt of court plea in PTI leader Shehr Yar Afridi case. Hearing of case was adjourned till June 19. Case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.
During hearing of case counsel Sher Afzal Murrawat told court that court’s orders are being violated openly. Shehr Yar Afridi has not been presented before respective court in Islamabad. He has been kept in cell where Mumtaz Qadri was kept.
Sher Afzal Murrawat told court there is trouble in one arm of Shehryar Afridi. Proper medical facilities are not being provided. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir reserved judgment after hearing arguments. Court remarked appropriate order will be issued on this matter. Hearing of case was adjourned till June 19.
