LAHORE: Consultation process between coalition partners is underway on Punjab situation amid reports former President Asif Ali Zardari, Chudhry Shujaat and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have made telephonic contact on this count.

PM exchanged views with Governor Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman on political situation of Punjab through telephonic conversation.

As per sources allied parties exchanged views on situation arose out of declaring unconstitutional by speaker summoning of Punjab Assembly session.

They agreed that implementation on law and constitution on matter of vote of confidence will be ensured.

It was also agreed during talks that Article 130 of Constitution and rules and regulations of Punjab Assembly are very clear. If Chaudhry Pervez Elahi did not seek vote of confidence then governor will play its role as per law and Constitution.

According to sources ruling alliance has completed its consultation with legal and constitutional experts. Ruling alliance leaders agreed Governor can summon Punjab Assembly session in both ways either no confidence motion is tabled or seeking of vote of confidence matter is involved.
