LAHORE: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that after not taking vote of confidence Ch. Parvez Elahi is no more Chief Minister as Governor issues notice, implementation will be made. Talking to media here he said CM was asked to take vote of confidence and he has not taken that so constitutionally and lawfully he is no more Chief Minister. Governors notification is only formal proceeding. Governor can ask CM to take vote of confidence. There is no harm on time Governor took. Governor is functioning power alloted by Constitution. Using Article-6 on Governor is nonsense. Removing Governor is far off matter, President could not remove bee with out Prime minister’s permission. President only takes action on Prime minister’s advice.

Governor can write letter to federation for not fulfilling constitutional requirments, he went on, and if that happens Governor Raj could be imposed after approval of Cabinet which will be for two months and can go long for six months if needed. He maintained that PTI wants to make fuss.  Chief Secretary and Inspector General Punjab fulfill constitutional responsibilities. We made full arrangements if any fuss happens outside Governor House. They tried to make fuss in capital and we failed them.

Rana Sanaullah said Nawaz Sharif is our leader and he will comeback before elections but he himself will decide date to return to Pakistan. We have made preparation to welcome Nawaz Sharif and election as well.
