Constitution of bench sentenced Nawaz Sharif was wrong: Sanaullah

Islamabad: PML-N senior leader and former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that it is requirement of Constitution and law that sentence of Nawaz Sharif should be annulled.

Rana Sanaullah said that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has always stood with supremacy of law and Constitution in his entire judicial life. Constitution of bench that sentenced Nawaz Sharif was wrong.

Rana Sanaullah expressed this hope that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will declare such punishments null and void. Earlier former Interior Minister said that President's letter to Election Commission is of no importance. President has not kept his constitutional status in mind.

Rana Sanaullah said that Election Commission has started process of constituencies.

He said that PPP was our ally till August 18 but not now. It is their right to give stand that suits PPP in elections. We have right to respond to it.
