Complaint filed in SJC against CJP, 3 judges

ISLAMABAD: A complaint has been filed in Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against four judges of Supreme Court (SC) including Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). Complaint has been filed by advocate Sardar Suleman Dogar in SJC requesting that CJP Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Justice Mazahar Akbar Naqvi be removed from their posts.
Petitioner has taken the plea in petition that all four judges including CJP have committed misconduct. All these four judges have violated article 209. Judges committed misconduct in Ghulam Muhammad Dogar and provincial election cases. Copies of complaint have been sent to other members of SJC.
