Commander Karachi, Gov Tessori discuss maritime, sea border issues

Karachi: Commander Coast Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri at Governor House. In meeting, prevention of smuggling, guarding of sea borders and other issues were discussed. Governor said that Pakistan Navy is not less than any country’s navy in terms of professional capabilities, Pakistan Navy is pride of nation. He said that Pakistan Navy is performing important services in prevention of smuggling, in this regard Navy’s role in protecting maritime boundaries is commendable. He said that an effective defense strategy is guarantee of bright future for nation.
Meanwhile, meeting of Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee (SILC) was held at Governor House under chairmanship of Governor. Problems faced by industrialists, role of SILC and other issues were discussed in meeting. Governor said that SILC is playing an important role in solving problems of industry, therefore scope of Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee will be expanded. He said that all possible measures are being taken for industrial activity, in this regard government is solving problems of industrialists on a priority. FPCCI Vice President Shaukat Ali Umar Sons, KCCI President Muhammad Tariq Yusuf, Federal B Area Association President Sohail Abdullah, Site Association President Riazuddin, KCCI President Tariq Yusuf, Landhi Association President Siraj Sadiq, Bin Qasim Association were present meeting.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori participated in special gathering of 27th night at Expo Centre at Salam Masjid and New Memon Masjid in Boulton Market. He congratulating Muslim world on 27th night, prayed that Allah accepts prayers, let us all pray for development and prosperity of country.
