Cold, dry weather likely in most parts of country: Met Office

KARACHI: Met Office informed that during next 24 hours, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts while very cold in north Balochistan and upper parts of country. Light rain/light snowfall over hills is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Fog is likely to occur over plain areas of Punjab.

 Past 24 Hour Weather: Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of country while very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan. Today’s recorded lowest minimum temperatures (°C): Leh -12, Kalam -10, Astore -7, Skardu, Parachinar -6, Bagrote -5, Malam Jabba, Gilgit -4, Quetta Hunza, Mir Khani, Rawalakot and Kalat-3.­
