Coastline source of recreation, livelihood for fishermen: Gov Tessori

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that Pakistan is among privileged countries in world where there is long and wide coastline, especially coastline from Karachi to Thatta is source of entertainment and of livelihood for fishermen.

Addressing ceremony of HMR waterfront project Governor said, “I thank Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi for inviting him. I have long relationship with Haji Sahib, his most reliable reference is his active participation in philanthropic works of HMR Group and project of Haji Rafiq Pardesi is good effort, it is hoped that project will ensure provision of modern basic facilities and provide best facilities to residents.”

He said that countless employment opportunities can be provided by providing incentives to investors, providing facilities to construction industry is one of my priorities.

Meanwhile, Kamran Tessori said that diabetes is spreading very rapidly in Pakistan and people of all ages seem to be suffering from it. Cases of heart disease are more common in patients suffering from it.

Addressing an event organised by SHED Foundation he said there is state of art hospital with more than 100 beds in SHED Homes Complex.

Orphans and destitutes boys hostel has also been built along with standard school has also been established and Old-age Home for men and women is also busy providing service.

SHED Foundation General Secretary Riaz Noori and Administrator Haroon Farid and others were also present in ceremony.
