COAS Bajwa visits IDEAS Expo, Malir Garrison: ISPR

Karachi: General Qamar Javed Bajwa Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited IDEAS-2022 here at Expo Centre. COAS witnessed various stalls at IDEAS-2022. COAS interacted with cross section of visitors and delegates and held separate meetings with various visiting delegates including Bahrain, Italy, Srilanka, Libya, Zimbabwe and UAE.

Later, COAS visited Malir Garrison where he laid floral wreath at Martyr’s Monument. During his farewell address to officers and troops COAS lauded their professionalism and devotion to duty. He praised troops for their untiring rescue and relief efforts to assist people during recent heavy floods.

Earlier on arrival, COAS was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed.

Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori met Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa at Defense Exhibition 2022. Both reviewed various stalls of Defense Exhibition. Later, Governor visited pavilions of Turkiye and China and took interest in defense equipment kept in pavilion.
