COAS Asim Munir, Saudi Gen discuss bilateral ties

Rawalpindi: High-level defense delegation led by Chief of General Staff Saudi Armed Forces, General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir at General Headquarters here, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) information.

 Military’s public relations wing said meeting discussed bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia including defense cooperation. Delegation also met Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, ISPR said.

Earlier, Saudi delegation met Pakistan Air Force Chief. Saudi Chief of General Staff expressed his admiration for exceptional progress made by Pakistan Air Force particularly in area of indigenisation.

 Delegation also lauded professionalism of PAF personnel during meeting whereas delegation also underscored discussion on several key areas of mutual interest, defence co-operation and geo-strategic situation, PAF news release said.
