CM Sindh files acquittal plea in Nooriabad power project case

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah filed acquittal plea in Noori Abad power project case. He appeared before Accountability Court (AC) in case. He filed acquittal plea under NAB amendment ordinance.

He said in his plea case remained no more under jurisdiction of NAB following promulgation of NAB amendment ordinance. He should be acquitted from reference.

Court while issuing notice to NAB for reply on petition of Murad Ali Shah adjourned hearing of case till January 12.
