CM Punjab hails PM's economic measures

LAHORE: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz hailed PM Shehbaz Sharif for economic progress.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for economic progress in country. Expressing her thoughts, CM said, “For first time, stock exchange crossed psychological barrier of 70,000 points. Investors' confidence increased with policies of Shehbaz Sharif.”

Speaking about international lender, she said, “International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank and other institutions acknowledge our policies.” She expressed optimism that reduction in electricity rates and inflation will benefit masses. Acknowledging economic policies of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, she said, "Economic policies of PML-N government are reaping benefits." She lavished her praise on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, “We are paving way for economic prosperity under leadership of Nawaz Sharif."

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz announced reduction in price of roti to Rs 16 per piece, effective immediately. Posting to social media platform X, Maryam Nawaz expressed gratitude, saying, "Punjab government has reduced price of roti to Rs 16 per piece from today.” Furthermore, CM said she had issued directives to all districts of Punjab and departments concerned to ensure strict implementation of this decision.
