CM Murad decides to launch crackdown against street criminals

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah decided to launch rigorous operation against street criminals in next 15 days. An important meeting regarding law and order was held under supervision of Chief Minister, in which Chief Minister gave instructions to speed up intelligence-based operation.
Chief Minister gave important instructions to police on street crime and said that police and Rangers should take strict action against street crime. He directed DG Rangers to increase patrolling and decided to improve prosecution of street crime. He decided to send back people who are living illegally in Sindh and also decided to increase surveillance on internal and external roads of city.
Murad Ali Shah said that police and Rangers should be deployed in important places where criminals are more active. He said seven people lost their lives over robbery resistance in December. During meeting, CM said that terrorist organisations want to disrupt peace and order in country again but Sindh government will not allow terrorists to rise again in our country, province and cities.
Giving instructions to speed up intelligence-based operations he said that mechanism has been created to increase coordination between Sindh Police and other intelligence agencies, all intelligence agencies should be in touch with each other daily.
