CM Maryam approves various uplift projects

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz accorded approval to construction of 450-kilometer long three new road corridors. CM Maryam gave formal assent to make new corridors in province in special meeting.
Chairing meeting here, Maryam Nawaz said that these road corridors connecting major cities will facilitate public transportation and bring economic development in these areas. Meeting was told that project will be completed in December this year at cost of Rs 210 billion in collaboration with Asian Development Bank (ADB) and government of Punjab. According to details, dual carriageway will be built from Sahiwal to Chichawatni, Rajana and from Rajana to Layyah. Single road from Depalpur to Vehari will be converted into dual carriageway. New dual carriageway will constructed from Shorkot to Jhang Chiragwali.
