Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated three value-added projects at Naya Nazimabad-Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana, Naya Nazimabad Flyover and Naya Nazimabad Jama Masjid.

Ceremony attended by number of people including Sharjeel Memon, Saeed Ghani, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, parliamentarians, top businessmen, bankers and industry leaders.Murad Ali Shah said that providing high quality living, with all amenities for health, sports and entertainment, to its citizens is topmost priority of government.

But government alone cannot provide all facilities at its own due to its limited resources. Participation by private sector through socially impactful projects like Naya Nazimabad is essential. I have been observing development of Naya Nazimabad over past few years. I am confident that such projects not only provide healthy habitat to its residents but also contribute greatly towards urban regeneration, social upliftment and economic well-being of province. I congratulate Arif Habib and his team for making an impressive progress in this project. Sindh government would provide all necessary assistance to this and similar projects.  Arif Habib Chairman, Naya Nazimabad, expressed gratitude to government, regulatory bodies, banks, financial institutions, customers of Naya Nazimabad, its architects, engineers, contractors and area people for confidence imposed in and support extended to Naya Nazimabad.

He said that collaborative model of undertaking large impactful projects by involving all stakeholders under transparent and disciplined structures is key to success. Naya Nazimabad is largest master-planned, gated residential community in Karachi.  it will house more than 50,000 families upon its completion.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced that if the Pakistani team wins the T20 World Cup 2024, they will be honored with a reception at Naya Nazimabad. Sharing a lighter note with the media on the loss of Pakistan against US during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, Murad Ali Shah said, “Pakistan loss against USA due to the ongoing negotiations with the IMF.”
