PESHAWAR: In major development aimed at ‘empowering’ youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced three projects focused on employment generation. KP government finalised preparations for launch of ‘Ehsaas Rozgar, ‘Ehsaas Hunar,’ and ‘Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar’ programmes, all designed to provide financial assistance to young entrepreneurs and skilled workers.

Ali Amin Gandapur instructed relevant departments to expedite finalisation of Memorandums of Understanding to ensure swift implementation of these initiatives. Under ‘Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar’ scheme, soft loans of up to Rs 10 million will be provided to eligible candidates, said CM Gandapur. Additionally, for starting new businesses or expanding existing ones, interest-free loans of up to Rs 200,000 will be offered. ‘Ehsaas Hunar’ programme will grant interest-free loans of up to Rs 500,000 to skilled youth, enabling them to start or expand their businesses, he said. In related development, Chief Minister also reviewed progress on ‘Ehsaas Apna Ghar’ programme, which aims to provide interest-free loans of up to Rs 1.5 million for construction, expansion or renovation of homes for deserving families. This comprehensive approach reflects government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and improving living standards of province’s youth and underprivileged families, said CM Gandapur.
