LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi meeting with renowned boxer Amir Khan announced to build boxing arena and gyms in Punjab. According to reports, renowned boxer called on Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi here.

Meeting was also attended by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leaders Moonis Elahi and Hussain Elahi. During meeting with Amir Khan, Punjab Chief Minister announced to build boxing arena and gyms in Punjab in bid to promote sport. He also directed Secretary Sports to take immediate steps in this regard.

CM also announced to give scholarship worth Rs 2 billion to players from sports endowment fund. “International coaches will be invited to train local players”, he added. Earlier in September, Chief Minister Punjab announced 30,000 new jobs in province after lifting ban on recruitment.
