QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, paid tribute to the martyrs and emphasized the importance of national unity in the fight against terrorism in the country.

Speaking at the passing out parade of the Counter-Terrorism Force in Quetta, Bugti praised the heroes who have selflessly worked to protect the homeland. He remarked, “While everyone serves the nation, it is the forces who shed their blood for the country.” The Chief Minister addressed the ongoing efforts to spread terrorism by manipulating the minds of the youth. He assured that both the nation and its security forces would counter these terrorist activities and prevent their harmful plans. Bugti stressed that the entire nation would stand united to defeat terrorism and its supporters. He also encouraged the newly graduated cadets to serve with dedication, highlighting the significance of their roles in protecting citizens, national assets, and critical infrastructure such as highways.

“You must confront terrorists with courage, day or night, and show that the sons of Balochistan stand as a strong barrier against them,” Bugti stated. The Chief Minister cautioned that the enemy is both cowardly and deceptive, receiving support from external forces like RAW, and often exploiting innocent minds for their terrorist agenda. Despite the recent attack on a training school that resulted in the tragic loss of 200 lives, Bugti pointed out that the institution continues to operate, showing resilience in the face of adversity. In closing, Bugti assured that the families of the martyrs would be fully supported, saying, “We will take care of the families of our martyrs; they will always remain in our hearts.” This commitment reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to honor the sacrifices made by those who give their lives to protect the nation.
