QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti vowed no leniency towards the extremists. Expressing his thoughts during the Balochistan Assembly session, CM Bugti said, "From this floor, I have offered to hold negotiations 100 times. The government will support anyone who will take a step for the sake of Balochistan's uplift."

"Who are those people who are killing innocent people? Why don't we name those responsible? The state has given them frequent opportunities," he said. CM Bugti maintained: "The banned BLA wants to impose its doctrine through violence and weapons. Should we allow the killings of innocent passengers?"

"There are two categories of people. One of them is holding weapons, and the other category of people is glorifying them on social media and X," said CM Bugti.

He said: "How long will we continue to bear them? The state has not started a war over this matter. The day when the state starts the war, I will tell you who will win or lose this fight." "The state is dealing with the matter patiently, but now the time is not to deal with those people patiently," CM Bugti said.

He asserted that these elements were not interested in dialogue and reiterated multiple times during in-camera briefings that such groups would not succeed in seizing any land in Balochistan.

Bugti pledged that anyone advocating for the breakup of the state or resorting to arms would be eliminated. He assured that the state would protect the common Baloch people, but would not tolerate those involved in the killing of innocent citizens.

In response to the attack, the Balochistan Assembly passed a resolution condemning the terrorist violence, which was presented by Adviser to the Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs, Meena Majeed Baloch.
