CM Advisor Mazari’s orders flouted by Registrar & Secretary Cooperative Societies

KARACHI: Registrar Cooperative Societies office staff not only disobeying the orders of Ehsan Ur Rehman Mazari, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Cooperative Department Sindh but also restored the punished and suspended Assistant Registrar Muhammad Usman Khaskheli on his post unlawfully without Advisor’s knowledge and permission. 

Informed sources disclosed that Ehsan Ur Rehman Mazari, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh had conducted an unannounced visit to the Registrar Office at Hasan Square on June 11, 2024. During the visit, Advisor Mazari expressed severe displeasure over the absence of officers.

Consequently, Assistant Registrar Muhammad Usman Khaskheli was suspended due to persistent absenteeism. Advisor Mazari supervised the activation of a biometric attendance system at the Registrar Office. He directed Secretary Cooperative Department Sindh, Athar Mirani, to ensure the regular attendance of all officers and staff. Furthermore, he instructed the Secretary, Registrar, and all officers to address public grievances on a priority basis.

However, according to sources the Advisor’s orders were flouted and the punished Assistant Registrar Muhammad Usman Khaskheli was not suspended from his office, instead he was regularly visiting the office and enjoying full perks of the post in office.
