CJP reconstitutes NJAC to improve efficiency of judiciary

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa has reconstituted National Judicial Automation Committee (NJAC) to improve efficiency of judiciary. Committee will be led by Supreme Court’s judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah.
It will work towards digitalisation of court’s processes and records, introduce mobile applications for better access to justice and improve case management.
Committee aims to automate and integrate judiciary and also introduce Artificial Intelligence in legal processes and research. It will prepare national plan based on technology and AI to improve efficiency of service delivery of judiciary.
Earlier, Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa had taken notice of construction of Judicial Complex of Lahore High Court on historical site in Kallar Kahar. As per sources, Chief Justice sought report from registrar of Lahore High Court on construction of Judicial Complex at historical garden at Kallar Kahar.
