CJP calls SJC meeting on Dec 14 for proceedings involving Justice Mazahar Ali

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has called meeting of Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on  December 14 (Thursday) in connection with  proceedings against Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi.  As per sources meeting will take place on Thursday in Judges block conference room.  Secretary SJC has sent notice to all the five members.  It is pertinent to mention here Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi had filed his reply to the notice of registrar Supreme Court.

He had  taken plea  in the reply that he had filed two constitutional petitions in Supreme Court. These two constitutional petitions be fixed for hearing.
