Chinese, UAE envoys assures Dar of economic cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Acting Charge’d Affairs, Embassy of Peoples’ Republic of China Bao Zhong called on Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Minister highlighted deep-rooted, long-standing bilateral ties between Pakistan and China and appreciated Chinese support to Pakistan on multiple fronts, said press release. He apprised envoy of economic situation of country and progress in ongoing IMF programme. Ms Bao Zhong reciprocated sentiments about strong bilateral ties between two countries. She also assured of constant support of Chinese Government to people of Pakistan in economic and
political terms. Minister thanked Bao Zhong for support and cooperation of China.
Meanwhile, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi called on Senator Ishaq Dar. During meeting they conversed about deep rooted brotherly ties and discussed various areas of common interest for further strengthening trade and economic ties between two countries.
Ambassador also reciprocated interest of UAE government for expanding investment in various sectors of economy of Pakistan. Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar acknowledged that UAE has been great partner of Pakistan in various fields including energy, refinery, petroleum and trade, according to press statement issued by Finance Ministry. He appreciated and welcomed investment proposals of UAE in Pakistan and assured of complete support and cooperation by government.
