China praises counter-terrorism efforts of Pakistan Army

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Premier Li Qiang, who is in Pakistan to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, held significant meeting with Pakistani military officials. Premier Li Qiang met with Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and service chiefs.
During meeting, discussions reaffirmed commitment to further strengthen and expand long-standing relations between Pakistan and China. Key topics included defense cooperation and issues related to terrorism between two countries.
Chinese premier praised role of Pakistan’s armed forces in fight against terrorism and assured full support and assistance from China in this ongoing fight. COAS also in attendance.
