Lahore: Cricket fans exhibited extraordinary enthusiasm for the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 as tickets for three highly-anticipated matches have been sold out.

The ticket sale for the Pakistan-hosted matches of the eight-team tournament went live on Tuesday at 2pm and drew unusual interest from the fans. As a result, the tickets for the curtain-raiser between the home side and New Zealand as well as the group-stage matches between Australia and England and Pakistan and Bangladesh, were sold out, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared.

The cricket board further revealed that only 30 percent of the tickets were put on sale online in the first phase, while the physical tickets will be available for purchase from February 3 at designated centres across the country. “The PCB remains committed to facilitating the maximum number of spectators to watch the matches in the stadiums.”
