Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani along with members of Senate discussed development, public welfare and legislation in Upper House here. Senator Umar Ahmedzai and Senator Kauda Babar were also present. Governor said that initiatives of federation are important in development of province. Kamran Tessori said that all stakeholders are being consulted for development of province, while transparency of public funds is being ensured. Sadiq Sanjrani said that Upper House is making effective legislation for public welfare. He added that consultation of Sindh Governor for development of province is most welcomed.

Meanwhile, performed opening ceremony of activation of Maa Hospital in Orangi Town by former right-wing Senator Nighat Baji. Number of dignitaries and people from area participated, apart from former member of National Assembly Sheikh Salahuddin

On other hand Governor inaugurated Sindh Scouts Jumbo moot sworn-in event as Chief Scout of Sindh. He said that this day is of historical importance, as on December 22, 1947, founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah took oath of Chief Scout. Scouts are active in every difficult hour, services of scouts during natural calamities are commendable.

He inaugurated Sindh Scout Jumbo Moot in connection with Pakistan’s Diamond Jubilee. Provincial Scout Commissioner Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Chief Patron Muhammad Siddique Memon, Mahfuz Yar Khan, Hasan Feroze and Association Secretary Akhtar Mir were present.

Tesori said that effective and concrete measures at all levels are very necessary for promotion of scouting, so my all possible cooperation will be with association for promotion of scouting.  He said that we should focus on making our children good citizens. He said that scouting is another factor in developing leadership. He visited camps of scouts in different districts of Sindh and other provinces to inquire about their well-being and participated in camp with scouts in dandia.
