Chairman Jilani Welfare Association vows to promote inter-faith harmony sans any nepotism

Karachi: In wake of Christmas celebrations and with a cause to promote interfaith harmony, The Salvation Army Church organised an event in the metropolis.

   Founder Jilani Welfare Association, Syed Khurram Shah Jilani was the chief guest on the ocassion. He was welcomed by Captain Zeeshan Joseph, Commanding Officer, Corps Central Hall, Karachi division.

 Chairman Jilani Welfare Association while expressing his views said that Islam teaches us the lesson of humanity, brotherhood, patience and tolerance. Being a human, irrespective of race, color, creed, it is the utmost responsibility of all to not discriminate among mankind and to give respect to everyone without any nepotism

   He also said that in today’s world there is immense need of propagating the right message of Islam to the entire world and collective efforts are needed to end all kind of extremism from our society.

During the event he also held discussions with the guests belonging to different escts and religious branches and promoted interfaith harmony at his best.

  Later, Captain Zeeshan also thanked Chairman JWA for showing his presence. The event ended with performance sof children on differnt songs to mark Christmas celebrations.
