CG Qatar hosts reception marking National Day, CM Murad, Gov Tessori among participants

KARACHI: Consulate General of State of Qatar in Karachi held reception in five star hotel hosted by Mishal M. Al-Ansari Consul General of Qatar on National Day, in commemoration of founder of state, Sheikh Jassim Bin Muhammad Bin Thani under slogan, “Our unity is source of our strength.” Quoted from speech of Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani which affirms cohesion, solidarity and unity of people of Qatar.

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Minister Moinuddin Haider, Mayor Karachi, Armed Forces officers, Gulf and other foreign diplomats and industrialists attended event and gave felicitations personally to Consul General Qatar.

Consul General affirmed his desire for strong and prosperous Pakistan and confidence that unique bilateral relations between Qatar and Pakistan will even thrive further with strong ties of brotherhood.

He said that this year’s national day celebration coincides with 2022 FIFA World Cup which Qatar is in middle of hosting, it showcases country’s outstanding readiness be it in form of building air-cooled stadiums, fan zones, training sites and other outdoor areas for tourists. It was proud moment for Emir and nation to host biggest single-sport competition in world and make resounding success out of it. So far, nothing of this calibre has been seen in world of football and culmination is eagerly awaited.
