CEO PM Health Programmme, SLIC Chief discuss health insurance facility with Gov Tessori

Karachi: Prime Minister Health Programme CEO Muhammad Arshad and State Life Insurance Corporation Chief Executive Officer Shoaib Javed Hussain met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

They discussed facility of health insurance for common people, issuance of health facility card and other related issues.

Governor said that access to health services is fundamental right of people which cannot be ignored under any circumstances, good health is foundation of flourishing society. He said that strong public health policy will ensure healthy population.

It plays an important role in making, health insurance facility will be provided to common people, so that they can get treatment in good hospital. Good health is foundation of flourishing society, he said.

Strong public health policy plays an important role in ensuring healthy population. Can be treated in hospital. Governor directed that details of health facility card should be finalised soon. He said that health insurance project will be started soon.

All over country since 2016, health facility card has been available to people throughout country. Sindh is only province in which this facility has not yet been provided. What is reason that people of Sindh are not able to benefit from this facility? Governor said that he has spoken to Chief Minister and Chief Secretary in this regard.
