Karachi: CEO KWSC Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed visited Hub Canal and reviewed ongoing repair work on Canal. Superintending Engineer Bulk Ghulam Mustafa Maghan and officials accompanied him.

CEO issued orders to concerned authorities to complete repair work on an emergency basis and said to ensure quick supply of water to city from Hub Canal, so that citizens do not face any kind of problem.

Superintending Engineer Bulk informed CEO about repair work. He said that repair work on Hub Canal is going on rapidly, which will be completed by tonight and from today, normal water supply will be started from Hub Canal to District West and District Keamari. He informed that water is being supplied from alternate line of K-3 to District West and District Kemari.

Spokesperson of KWSC said that officers and employees of Water Corporation have been rendering their services continuously for twenty-four hours without any break. RCC work on cracked area is going on fast, spokesperson said.
