CEO, COO Water Corp say Day Sept 6-message is of galore lifework

Karachi: Chief Executive Officer Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed and Chief Operating Officer Asadullah Khan in their message on Pakistan Defense and Martyrs Day of September 6, 1965 said Day is of pride for our nation military. Defense Day is national day for us, because when India, with more military strength and defense resources attacked land of Pakistan in dark of night to fulfill its nefarious ambitions, Pakistani forces used their professionalism, love for country, passion and will to sacrifice for country and foiled major attack.  They said that Pakistani military fought bravely and were able to fulfill duty of defending country.

They said that, in 1965 when enemy tried to topple our freedom and survival, Pakistani nation stood before it like rock, because living nations become stronger through trials.

On September 6, when India imposed an undeclared war on Pakistan, entire nation stood up in support of defenders of homeland, While many patriots went towards borders on barefoot, this great display of national harmony and solidarity further boosted spirits of our brave armed forces and they fought against enemy with such fearlessness that there is no example of it in world, our brave men, pilots, officers and sailors have proved to world that they are always ready to protect every inch of motherland on any circumstances.

They said that every year day of September 6 gives us an opportunity to pay tribute to our national heroes, armed forces veterans and especially those martyrs and veterans, who have always been hope and pride of nation.

We salute to brave sons of nation who sacrificed their precious lives for safety and security of country and also pay tribute to families of these great martyrs, those who showered their loved ones on motherland.

They said our brave nation and strong armed forces have repeatedly proved that we not only have full capacity to defend country, rather, are always ready to deal with any kind of aggression, so let us keep thrilling emotions of September War always fresh in hearts.
